Breakups can be extremely tough and they can happen for all sorts of reasons. More often than not, however, the reasons are simply not great enough for there to be no chance of reconciliation, particularly if you have been together for a long time. A true relationship requires commitment and a degree of determination. It requires overcoming a multitude of problems and learning how to deal with a breakup. If you have recently split up, here are two tips on how to get your ex back.
Give Her Some Space
This might sound like a counter-productive relationship advice, but giving your ex some space is the best place to start. Running back a few days later can come across as needy and desperate and this is one of the ultimate turnoffs in any relationship. The amount of time you should wait is not set in stone, but it should be long enough to come to understand why you broke up and come to terms with your own faults as well. After all, as the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
If you broke up on relatively reasonable terms, it is often a good idea to call her after you have given her some space. If you call her, try to avoid the subject of the breakup and, in fact, your relationship entirely. Ask her how she is and what she has been up to. Try to have a conversation with her as you would a friend. This will help to create a much more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere between you. When the time feels right, you can move on to more romantic discussions.
